They are passionate students that have recently won a grant from the Dragon Kim Foundation for their socially relevant idea: AI Explorer Foundation.

 

They understand that kids in title one schools do not have access to learning the basics of AI to prepare them for the future. We need to prepare our kids to succeed in an AI-driven world because most jobs in the future will require people to understand AI in order to perform their jobs. Benji and Mattia established the AI Explorer Foundation in 2024 to help with this.

The Foundation is launching a website full of useful AI education resources and a hands-on curriculum bringing their learnings, in partnership with top AI experts, to classrooms - in person and virtually - around the world. In addition, they are launching a ground-breaking gamified learning AI Explorer app this summer to help kids take their learning to the next level in a modern and interactive way. Taken together, these resources will change the game for kids who want to learn about and make use of the full power of AI.
